Blogging Survivor: One World - "If it's in boiling water you don't have to worry, even if it was pooped pants"

Following the merge, it became apparent that the original guys and girls alliances had disintegrated. Jay denied Tarzan a cup of coffee that the new Salani Tribe had won as a reward.

That caused Tarzan to weep poetically, "I was hoping that the guys would be solid against the girls, but now this morning, I fret that it ain't so."

The Reward Challenge involved an obstacle course to retrieve bags of puzzle pieces and solve a puzzle. The newly merged Tiniano Tribe randomly divided into two teams, with the winners getting an afternoon of beer, pizza and a note with a clue to another hidden Immunity Idol, and the losers getting...well, not getting beer and pizza.

Leif started out first for the blue team, and barely dug a hole big enough for himself to fit through even though he's retarded, causing him to get stuck on the very first obstacle.

With the red team off to a big lead, Jay dug a hole big enough for almost everyone on the red team to fit through, except for Sabrina, who was still too fat despite living off the land with no real food source for two weeks. Go figure, my guess would have been that would have been Alicia.

With Tarzan spent more time responding to Jeff Probst's comments than he did helping with the puzzle, he allowed the red team to secure victory, with Jay, Sabrina, Michael, Troy, Alicia, Chelsea and Christina winning the pizza and beer reward.

Said a dejected Leif, "I wanted pizza and beer so bad...No I've got sand in every part of my body." Perhaps attempting to deflect the attention from what he knew was about to come, Tarzan asked, "Are you trying to tell us that you're going to be pooping sand for the next couple days?"

While Tarzan approached Michael about preserving the guys alliance and bringing in Alicia, Michael expressed little interest in aligning himself with Tarzan now that he did not have to. When Michael asked Jonas about the plan, Jonas, who was previously too terrified to even question redneck Colton became upset.

Jonas scolded Tarzan, "You tell the least reliable guy the plan, does that make sense to you?" When Tarzan responded, "Yeah, because we need six guys," Jonas growing frustrated said, "You tell him right before the vote, not two days before. If he's playing both sides, what is he going to do? He's going to tell the women."

With Jonas and Tarzan's conversation escalating into a full blown argument, Tarzan proclaimed, "There's so much confusion here, I think I'm going to drop out of the tribe and you guys just continue without me...I'm dropping my allegiance with you guys because every time I try to tell you something...you don't remember what I say."

Of course, that's coming from the guy who had a problem remembering the name of the person he was told to vote for, but I digress.

Tarzan went on to say, "I do not like Jonas, I do not like that guy anymore. When I say something I mean it from my heart, and I don't go back on it. I can't look at that face anymore," as he walked around in his prostate sling.

I guess "Tarzan,' a/k/a Greg Smith, got his nickname from the loin cloth he wore when he was on the show...I still have no fucking idea why Troy calls himself "Troyzan."

Troy woke up hours earlier than everyone else to begin looking for the hidden Immunity Idol, and like everyone else, he immediately found it. "The early bird gets the Idol, and gets the power."

The first Individual Immunity Challenge consisted of balancing balls on a disc while standing on a perch. Tarzan went out first, while Michael followed.

That caused Jeff to say, "Michael, with balls hanging on both sides of his disc." He later said, "Troyzan's balls haven't moved in a long time."

With the finals of the Immunity Challenge coming down to Troy and Kat, Kat fell off giving Troy immunity. When asked what's going on right now as he exclaimed "This is crazy," Troy responded, "You're touching me - Jeff Probst - it's just crazy," which set his previously inactive balls back in motion.

While Jay and Chelsea wanted to keep their most recent alliance and vote out Jonas, when Troy found out, he filled Jonas in on their plan. Jonas immediately apologized to the men for acting "out of line."

Jonas's apology struck a chord with Tarzan, causing him to interrupt, "You're apologizing? It brings tears to my eyes, thank you," as he extended his hand in reconciliation. He went on to sniffle, "I was so struck by the personality that it took for him to do that, that it brought me to mild tears."

Lead by Tarzan, the guys targeted Kat. Since they lacked Michael and Jay, this probably would have been a good time for Troy to offer an Idol to Jonas to catch the women off guard and regain some of their numbers.

When Sabrina asked, "Do you have any clothing that needs to be boiled?" Tarzan volunteered, "I'm just going to do my undies," before disclaiming, "This is not poop okay, it's dirt."

Given that Sabrina was not asking for clothing to be burned, it seemed odd that Tarzan would volunteer to hand over his shit stained clothing to someone else to wash, because when you shit yourself, you immediately wash it yourself before anyone else can find out, right?

Sabrina questioned Tarzan when she asked, "You can see how it looks to me how it might be poop...So how is there dirt just concentrated in one area and not everywhere else?" That caused Tarzan to explain that it had to do with the way he was sitting on the dirt...With his undies apparently inside out.

While Chelsea might be country, she's still a girl, as she refused to let her clothes boil with Tarzan's, despite his plea how he knows all about microbiology, "If it's in boiling water you don't have to worry, even if it was pooped pants."

Disgusted, Chelsea walked off saying, "I'm going to go puke, I'll be right back." This caused her to initiate conversation to send Tarzan home over Jonas, while Jay wanted to adhere to the original plan to send Jonas home.

Chelsea isn't just your typical girl from the south who went to Clemson and likes to kills shit...Apparently she's looking for a celebrity beau, just like everyone else on Survivor.

At Tribal Council, Jonas called out Michael as the bigger physical threat, saying that's who he was going to vote for. Tarzan interjected by saying he did not respect Jonas for saying that. That caused Jonas to say, despite your brilliant plan, we do not have the votes to...vote off Kat," effectively throwing Tarzan under the bus.

Chelsea chimed in by saying that she thought that more people had issues with Tarzan than Jonas, which Sabrina agreed with. Kim later said, "That's the beauty of a merge...All of a sudden people like Jonas become a threat, and people like Tarzan become an asset."

In the end, Jonas was voted out. As he left he said to Tarzan, "Alright man, no hard feelings bro," but Tarzan did not reciprocate. "Hard feelings to you." In reference to having to boil Tarzan's undies in their cooking pot, Jonas laughed as he exited saying, "Good luck with that food situation!"

In a side note, Brandon Hantz has now announced that he has gotten divorced his wife and is working as a NASCAR sales rep since his appearance on Survivor: South Pacific last season, which is proof that Jeff Probst really can make your dreams come true.

2012 NFL Mock Draft: Post Free Agency

Here is my Post Free Agency 2012 NFL Mock Draft. It will be followed by updates up until the NFL Draft on April 26th.

My mock draft has been linked by The Football Fan Spot, Sports Jabber, DC Pro Sports ReportWalter Football, FF Toolbox, hailRedskins.com, The Football Expert, NFLDraftDogFantasy Football Help Desk, The Huddle Report, Niners Nation, EDS Football, NFL Mock Draft Central, NFL Pro Zach and No Limits Sportsline Fantasy Sports in their Mock Draft Databases. If you're a draftnik like me, be sure to click on their hyperlinks and check out all of their extensive NFL Draft related material.

This is not a mock draft where I attempt play general manager and substitute my own judgment for the 32 NFL teams. I do my best to research what particular players or positions each team may be targeting by searching the Internet for tips from reliable beat writers, NFL insiders and scouts in order to provide links and analysis as to why that team may be targeting a particular player.

1st Round

1. Indianapolis Colts - Andrew Luck, QB, Stanford: With the Colts unwilling to pay a $28 million roster bonus to a quarterback coming off of four neck surgeries, and with Peyton Manning not wanting to take a pay cut to play through a major rebuilding project, this has been one of the better break-ups between a superstar and a franchise/city in recent history. While there has recently been some talk about Robert Griffin overtaking Andrew Luck as the first pick, which I personally wouldn’t disagree with, Luck will be Indianapolis’s pick.

2. Washington Redskins (from St. Louis) – Robert Griffin III, QB, Baylor: With Peyton Manning having rebuffed Washington's attempt to lure him in free agency, the Redskins will have their quarterback of the future, having elected to give up three first round picks and a second for the right to draft Robert Griffin III.

http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/football-insider/post/washington-redskins-acquire-no-2-pick-in-nfl-draft-in-trade-with-st-louis-rams/2012/03/09/gIQAwy1Q2R_blog.html

3. Minnesota Vikings – Matt Kalil, OT, USC: Rumors are starting to come out that GM Rick Spielman is not necessarily set on drafting USC T Matt Kalil with the third pick. Don’t buy into that smokescreen. Unless Minnesota is offered a party boatload of picks, and that isn’t going to happen, they’ll be staying put at #3 and selecting Kalil. Kalil projects as a premier left tackle that Minnesota can rebuild their offensive line around. While Justin Blackmon and Morris Claiborne would also fill needs here for the Vikings, when all else is equal when it comes to talent, left tackle takes precedence over any other position aside from QB and possibly DE.

4. Cleveland Browns – Trent Richardson, RB, Alabama: Having offered three first round picks and even a second rounder, the Browns still lost out to Washington on Robert Griffin III. However, as a consolation prize the Browns are in the position to stay put and select one of the six impact players in this year’s draft, or they can attempt to trade down. With Miami looking at Ryan Tannehill, and the Rams interested in Justin Blackmon the Browns could feign an interest in either player in attempts to induce one of those teams to trade up. If they don’t get an offer they like, they could improve their running game with a franchise back in Trent Richardson.

5. Tampa Bay Buccaneers – Morris Claiborne, CB, LSU: It would be hard to argue with Morris Claiborne or Trent Richardson at the #5 spot talent wise, but if Richardson is gone, do the Bucs really need another cornerback after signing Eric Wright to a big contract as a free agent? Tampa Bay could be in the position to trade down to a team like Detroit seeking a premium cornerback like Claiborne.

6. St. Louis Rams - Justin Blackmon, WR, Oklahoma State: With the Rams now having traded down from the #2 spot with Washington at #6, they have accumulated a bounty of extra picks and still might have the opportunity to select the elite go to wide receiver they covet for Sam Bradford in Justin Blackmon. Minnesota and Cleveland will put up smokescreens regarding their interest in Blackmon to try and induce St. Louis to trade up, but if they stay put, they should land their go-to receiver and keep their picks.

7. Jacksonville Jaguars – Quinton Coples, DE, North Carolina: Wide receiver, defensive end and tackle seem to be the Jaguars biggest needs. In the event that Justin Blackmon does not fall to them, they should have their choice of elite pass rushers in this year's draft, with defensive end representing the position of best value for Jacksonville at the #7 spot.

http://jacksonville.com/opinion/blog/400617/gene-frenette/2012-01-11/gene-frenette-jaguars-gm-gene-smith-must-give-mike

8. Miami Dolphins – Ryan Tannehill, QB, Texas A and M: With Miami having missed out on Peyton Manning, Matt Flynn, and any other free agent who’s aware of Jeff Ireland being their GM, Dolphins need to find a quarterback of the future. Ryan Tannehill, who played for Mike Sherman (Miami’s new offensive coordinator) in college, could fit the system. In the event that Tannehill has already been selected, or if they feel he’s not worthy of a top 10 pick, the Dolphins could target an outside 3-4 pass rusher like South Carolina’s Melvin Ingram.

http://miamiherald.typepad.com/sports-buzz/2012/02/live-from-the-combine-checking-out-dolphins-first-round-draft-options.html

9. Carolina Panthers – Michael Brockers, DT/DE, LSU: Ideally the Panthers would like for in-state product Quinton Coples to fall them at pick #9. Coples would have the skill-set to play inside as a disruptive tackle in the Panthers 4-3 system, as well as outside. While Brockers looked less than athletic at the Scouting Combine, defensive tackles don’t base their game on athleticism, and he has plenty of game tape against solid competition to back up his hype.

10. Buffalo Bills – Riley Reiff, OT, Iowa: Buffalo has addressed the deficiency they’ve had at defensive end over the past several seasons by signing Mario Williams and Mark Anderson in free agency. That will allow them to address the glaring need they’ve had at tackle over that same period of time. Either Riley Reiff of Iowa or Jonathan Martin of Stanford would fill that need on the right or left side, depending on whether or not the Bills re-sign Demetrius Bell at LT.

http://www.buffalonews.com/sports/bills-nfl/article771452.ece

11. Kansas City Chiefs – Dontari Poe, DT, Memphis: With the Chiefs having upgraded their offensive line by signing T Eric Winston, they can turn their attention to other areas. A true nose tackle like Dontari Poe of Memphis would be an ideal component for their 3-4 defense.

http://www.kansascity.com/2012/03/20/3502364/talk-chiefs-with-adam-teicher.html

12. Seattle Seahawks – Melvin Ingram, DE/OLB, South Carolina: Seattle has a need at defensive end. With Seattle having found their new quarterback in free agency in Matt Flynn, the Seahawks are said to have exhibited an interest in USC DE Nick Perry, who could be reunited with former college coach Pete Carroll, but if Melvin Ingram of South Carolina falls, he should be the pick.

13. Arizona Cardinals – Jonathan Martin, OT, Stanford: The Cardinals need to improve their offensive line, Jonathan Martin of Stanford and Riley Reiff would seem to fit at #13 value wise, although the Cardinals seemed to have exhibited an interest in Ohio State left tackle Mike Adams at the Senior Bowl. Martin could push current LT Levi Brown to right tackle, while Reiff could start off on the right side before eventually moving over to the left.

14. Dallas Cowboys – David DeCastro, G, Stanford: The Cowboys have improved their secondary with the signing of CB Brandon Carr. Defensive end remains a need, but this draft is deep at that position, at least when it comes to 3-4 defenses. The Cowboys seem to be targeting an upgrade on the interior of their offensive line, and there would be nobody better than David DeCastro of Stanford, especially since some are projecting that he could play center at the NFL level.

15. Philadelphia Eagles – Luke Kuechly, LB, Boston College: Despite spending significant amounts of money on the defensive side of the ball last season, it was relatively easy to foresee that the Eagles would struggle due to an inability to stop the run. While Philadelphia typically uses their first round draft picks on linemen, they were woefully undersized and thin on depth at linebacker last season, where a complete overhaul is necessary. Even after trading with the Texans for MLB DeMeco Ryans, Luke Kuechly of Boston College has some of the best zone coverage skills for a linebacker coming out of college in recent memory, so he could easily project on the strong side.

http://www.philly.com/philly/blogs/moving_the_chains/The-Eagles-options-at-LB.html

16. New York Jets – Courtney Upshaw, OLB/DE, Alabama: The Jets entire defense was brought down last season due to a lack of pass rush from the edge. Melvin Ingram of South Carolina projects as an ideal 3-4 OLB in the Jet’s defensive scheme. Mark Barron of Alabama could also be a consideration for some much needed speed at safety, but I'm hearing that a strong pass rusher would be their preference.

http://fifthdown.blogs.nytimes.com/2012/01/01/what-are-jets-biggest-off-season-needs/?scp=6&sq=NFL%20Draft%20Jets&st=cse

17. Cincinnati Bengals (from Oakland) – Dre Kirkpatrick, CB, Alabama: The Bengals should look to upgrade their secondary at either corner or safety with at least one of their two first round picks. If Dre Kirkpatrick falls, he could join Leon Hall as a starter in what would become an extremely deep Bengals secondary. If Kirkpatrick doesn’t fall, defensive end is also looking like a strong consideration with the Bengals having re-signed Adam Jones as an insurance plan.

18. San Diego Chargers – Andre Branch, OLB/DE, Clemson: The Chargers could have plenty of needs depending upon whether they re-sign all of their own free agents. Offensive line is a concern with the retirement of Kris Dielman, while adding a play maker to rush the passer at linebacker is also a major need. Melvin Ingram of South Carolina or Courtney Upshaw of Alabama would be ideal fits if they were to fall to San Diego at #18, while Andre Branch of Clemson would also fit the bill of a pass rusher at linebacker in their 3-4 defense. Keep an eye on Mark Barron of Alabama at safety as well.

19. Chicago Bears – Michael Floyd, WR, Notre Dame: Replenishing an aging offensive line has to be a priority for the Bears, as is adding a true #1 receiver. With Mike Martz having been forced into retirement, new offensive coordinator and offensive line guru Mike Tice might be able to make do with the pieces that he currently has. In that case, Michael Floyd of Notre Dame would give Jay Cutler a natural go-to receiver to work with, even after the Bears traded for Brandon Marshall. Johnny Knox is currently hurt, and Devin Hester is better served as a deep threat/flanker.

20. Tennessee Titans – Nick Perry, DE/OLB, USC: Even after signing Kamerion Wimbley, the Titans appear to be looking for help at defensive end. In the mid to later part of the first round they could find value in edge rushers like Nick Perry of USC or Andre Branch of Clemson. Cornerback could also be a consideration with Courtland Finnegan having signed with the Rams in free agency.

21. Cincinnati Bengals – Cordy Glenn, T/G, Georgia: From the interior of their offensive line to an explosive back, the Bengals could stand to improve their running game. If the Bengals can obtain a top corner like Dre Kirkpatrick with their first pick in the 1st round, someone like Cordy Glenn of Georgia who projects as either a right tackle or guard in the NFL would be a nice fit.

http://espn.go.com/blog/afcnorth/post/_/id/43129/wake-up-bengals-eyeing-rb-by-committee

22. Cleveland Browns (from Atlanta) – Brandon Weeden, QB, Oklahoma State: As much as Browns fans may not like it, they are definitely kicking the tires on QB Brandon Weeden of Oklahoma State. Whether they take him in the 1st round or not is a different story. With play makers on offense a must, if they don’t target a running back or quarterback, they also could be looking at a wide receiver like Michael Floyd, Stephen Hill or Kendall Wright.

http://www.stltoday.com/sports/football/professional/trading-no-pick-gives-rams-plenty-of-options/article_97ad82ab-c065-5d36-9aee-59a2c1a49ebf.html;

http://www.cleveland.com/browns/index.ssf/2012/03/report_redskins_have_traded_up.html

23. Detroit Lions – Mike Adams, T, Ohio State: Offensive line and the secondary are Detroit's biggest areas of need. However, William Clay Ford, Jr., Martin Mayhew and Tom Lewand have changed the culture in Detroit by taking a best player available instead of reaching for players, and with the draft back heavy on the defensive line, the Lions have to be hoping that a left tackle or top cornerback falls to them. If the Lions were to draft a tackle, they’d ultimately be looking for someone to replace Jeff Backus on the left side. Mike Adams of Ohio State could fit that bill, and replace Gosder Cherilus on the right side while Backus plays out his final two years on the left side.

24. Pittsburgh Steelers – Fletcher Cox, DT, Mississippi State: With Casey Hampton's health and contract jeopardizing his return to the Steelers, Pittsburgh could be looking for a nose tackle to replace him, or a 3-4 defensive end so that Ziggy Hood can move inside. While DT Dontari Poe of Memphis received the most notoriety for his athleticism at the Scouting Combine, Fletcher Cox of Mississippi State not only nearly matched him in terms of his workout, but he has the better game film to back it up.

https://plus.sites.post-gazette.com/index.php/pro-sports/steelers/114999-ed-another-first-rounder-might-benefit-steelers-more

25. Denver Broncos – Jerel Worthy, DT, Michigan State: The Broncos have more needs than there is value to them at the #25 pick. Ideally, they'd probably like to trade out of the first round and accumulate more players at positions of need like running back, center, defensive tackle and the secondary. Defensive tackle should be a particularly deep position in the late first or early second round, and Jerel Worthy, Devon Still, Fletcher Cox or Brandon Thompson could all fill a need for the Broncos at that position if they stay put.

26. Houston Texans – Stephen Hill, WR, Georgia Tech: The Texans need a compliment to Andre Johnson at wide receiver, who's injury last season magnified their lack of depth at that position. Stephen Hill is a physical specimen at wide receiver who's numbers at Georgia Tech were hindered by their lack of a vertical passing game. After his performance at the Scouting Combine, teams have to be wondering how good Hill can become in an offense that utilizes its receivers. He just might be the best receiver in this year’s draft, which would represent a steal at #26.

27. New England Patriots (from New Orleans) – Mark Barron, S, Alabama: New England has two picks in both the 1st and the 2nd rounds of this year's draft. With glaring holes at DE, OLB CB/S and possibly even WR, they should be in position to make major improvements to a team that just narrowly missed winning the Super Bowl. Mark Barron of Alabama would give them more athleticism at safety if he were to fall to them at the #27 pick.

http://boston.sbnation.com/new-england-patriots/2012/1/25/2732129/2012-nfl-draft-new-england-patriots-mark-barron

28. Green Bay Packers – Whitney Mercilus, DE/OLB, Illinois: A 3-4 defensive end that could occupy some of the extra attention could free Clay Mathews, Jr. up, as would a pass rushing OLB to play opposite him. Whitney Mercilus of Illinois lead the nation in sacks last season, and could put some much needed extra heat on opposing quarterbacks. While there should also be plenty of talent available at DT/DE when the Packers select, that could also be a reason for them to wait until the second round to address that need.

http://www.greenbaypressgazette.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=2012120222147

29. Baltimore Ravens - Peter Konz, C, Wisconsin: Baltimore takes a best player available approach when it comes to the draft. Fortunately for them, interior offensive linemen may represent the best value on the board when they select, as they could lose G Ben Grubbs to free agency and C Matt Birk to retirement. Peter Konz could either replace Birk should he retire, or he could play along side of him for a year at guard in order to learn the calls a center needs to make in the NFL.

30. San Francisco 49ers – Kendall Wright, WR, Baylor: Even after signing Randy Moss and Mario Manningham, the 49ers could still use another wide receiver. While the 49ers philosophy is to take the best player available on their draft board, fortunately for them, it looks as if either Kendall Wright of Baylor or Stephen Hill could still be available when they pick. Not only would Wright by a reciever the 49ers could develop for the future, but he could also step into the slot immediately even with their veteran free agent acquisitions.

31. New England Patriots – New England Patriots (from New Orleans) – Devon Still, DT, Penn State: Devon Still of Penn State would be an ideal 3-4 end to provide the Patriots with some much needed pass rush while also stabilizing their line against the run. A 3-4 outside linebacker like Marshall’s Vinny Curry or Whitney Mercilus of Illinois could also be in the mix.

32. New York Giants – Dont’a Hightower, LB, Alabama: The Giants were able to mask holes on their offensive line, line backing corps and in their secondary all season. With their secondary returning some of the depth and talent that was lost due to injury, the Giants can focus on their line and linebackers. Cordy Glenn of Georgia has the versatility to play either right tackle or right guard, both of which are positions that the Giants could stand to improve. If Glenn is not available, and given that the Giants take a best player available philosophy under Jerry Reese, a linebacker with a first round grade like Dont’a Hightower of Alabama would help solidify their front seven.

Blogging Survivor: One World - "I don't have any fingernails right now...All the dirt is in my mouth, and it was nutritious, but it was disgusting"

After proclaiming that voting Monica out last week was the "best blindside ever" (except for the part where it wasn't), Alicia gloated, "That was the funniest Tribal Council I've been to," rubbing it in Christina's face how she had defected from the women and joined up with the men...and Colton too.

Aside from Monica's ex-NFL player husband, Brad Culpepper, I don't think that anybody really cared that Colton and Alicia blindsided her.

Colton arrogantly added, "The thing is, no one's going to go off with you by themselves, Christina, so good luck. You might can make an alliance with that hermit crab over there."

Alicia got even nastier, refusing to make room for Christina in the shelter by saying, "I don't care, because you're going to be gone." When Alicia threatened to "whack her," Christina stood her ground and said, "Go ahead, do it," proclaiming that she was going to fight back.

At Salani, Kat woke up and proclaimed, "Alicia killed me in my dream...I was in the mall shopping for clothes and Alicia killed me...I don't know if that's a sign." Apparently Kat's "puppy dreams" got better later, as she talked about digging and eating dirt. "I don't have any fingernails right now...All the dirt is in my mouth, and it was nutritious, but it was disgusting."

I'm just hoping that all of the contestants on Survivor clean up their poop, because Kat is liable to try and eat it when nobody else is looking.

The Reward Challenge involved bouncing coconuts off of a trampoline to break targets, with the first tribe to break all five winning a trip to an ice cream parlor. After Kat completely missed the trampoline on her first throw, she went on to hit two targets, leading Salani to victory.

Colton and Alicia didn't come close to hitting any targets, with Alicia's effort getting ridiculed by Jeff Probst, yet Colton still tried to blame Christina for the Monano's loss for not running fast enough. "It ticked me off...You can quit, or you can wait and go home in two days, or you can jump in the fire and be Medevacted."

Realizing that she was Colton and Alicia's next target, Christina made an obligatory play to stay in the game by approaching Leif and Jonas, wait, make that Jonas and Leif since Leif isn't really capable of independent thought. Christina informed them that Alicia had already made an alliance with the women, and said that she'd be willing to play with the men if they'd keep her around.

Just when I was starting to like Christina Cha on Survivor, she goes and posts "modelling" pictures like this on her Facebook page, outing her a just another reality TV fame whore...At least she's not fat like Alicia and Colton.

Of course, Alicia walked up behind her during that conversation and proclaimed that Christina was only digging herself a bigger grave, to which Christina responded that she and Colton had already told her she was going home, so she really had nothing to lose by trying.

Alicia went on to say, "Christina is telling a partial truth. I do have an alliance with the girls, which Jonas doesn't need to know." To me, that kind of makes it sound like what Christina was saying was the whole truth, but I guess we can't expect special education teachers to be as smart as regular education teachers.

After I fast forwarded through the commercials, I was shocked to see Colton with his head on Christina's lap as she was massaging his temple. Thinking that I had fast forwarded too far and had missed an important scene, I had to rewind.

As it turned out, Colton was not feeling well, and Christina took on a motherly role in spite of how nasty he had treated her. Of course, Christina acknowledged that she was just trying to win his favor, while Colton proclaimed that he knew she was trying to kiss up. I guess we'll call that one a draw.

Tarzan got involved by saying, "I sensed something was wrong, and I know the signs of, you know, appendicitis, and gallbladder, and bowel obstruction, I know all those signs and symptoms."

With the creepy plastic surgeon trying to weigh in with his diagnosis, Colton had to be praying that the producers at least had access to a semi-real doctor like an osteopath, a veterinarian, a shaman, or even a chiropractor.

Colton walked into the jungle to lay down where he dramatically proclaimed, "I'm dying, I'm about to duh-eye." Seeing her opportunity, Christina rushed to get medical. In fact, Colton will be happy to know that she ran much faster than she did in the Reward Challenge with his ability to stay in the game...I mean his health on the line.

Medical immediately ruled out constipation, which was strange considering that Colton has been a major pain in the ass all season. With appendicitis the likley diagnosis, Colton, ironically, was medevacted from the game.

As much as I was happy to see the little "prep-neck' from the south go home, I was really hoping to see him get voted out based upon his game play and personality. Now that he has a medical excuse, we're all but assured of seeing him return on Survivor All-Stars: Racist Island.

Jeff gave Colton the option of giving away his Immunity Idol, but he elected to keep it as a souvenir, much to Alicia's dismay. "Colton is a spoiled brat. He's going to keep it as a souvenir even though he knows he screwed me, like, the biggest? I voted off Monica, and if Monica was here, the girls would have the numbers."

Of course, the girls would still have numbers if Alicia hadn't betrayed her alliance and participated in the plan to vote out Monica to begin with.

Jonas, feeling that he had more power with Colton out of the game, considered targeting Alicia instead of Christina. "I do believe that if there was a karma, Colton got some karma right back at him." You think?

With Colton declaring how he hoped Christina would be medevacted from the game, and then ending up getting medevacted out himself, I think I'm all in on this karma thing. I might even start cheering for Tim Cross-Bow, I mean t-bow.

There was no Immunity Challenge, with both tribes receiving a message that they'd be going to Tribal Council. When they arrived, Jeff informed the Salani Tribe that Colton had to be medevacted to a hospital to have surgery for acute appendicitis, to which Kat to exclaimed, "OH MY GOD!...What is that?

Alicia informed Sabrina that Colton had said to tell her "Thanks for the souvenir," referring the Immunity Idol that Sabrina had given him, causing Salani to question whether that statement was just a bluff. When asked whether it was by Jeff, Jonas said, "I cannot reveal that information Jeff," mocking Tarzan's from last week's Tribal Council.

Asked about the possibility of Alicia having lied about the Idol, Kat responded by saying, "Touche (Touche? To what)...I'm kind of more worried about the appendix thing, and how do I not get mine hurt. Everyone else has there's out."

Jeff then dropped the bomb that the Tribes were merging. With 6 men and 6 women remaining. Tarzan said, "I have to say, the game is afoot." In the end, nobody was voted out, and it will be interesting to see if the women can keep their alliance intact.

Umm...Tarzan, that's not exactly "a foot."

Blogging Survivor: One World - "I just found the Immunity Idol, it's in my crotch!"

This week's episode began with the women gloating about still having seven members after the men folishly gave-up Tribal Immunity last week just so some "prep-neck" from Alabama could vote out the black guy. Colton was equally cocky...Yeah, even I'm not touching that one.

As the teams arrived at the Reward Challenge Jeff announced, "You can drop your buffs, because we are switchin' tribes." Monica saw this as an opportunity to show off her fake boobs, and removed the buff she was wearing as her top.

After a random draw, the new Salani Tribe consisted of Michael, Sabrina, Kat, Jay, Kim, Chelsea and Troy-zan; while the new Manano Tribe was made up of Tarzan, Colton, Monica, Christina, Alicia, Leif and Jonas. Realizing that his alliance was no longer relevant, Colton whined, "They have all the muscle," as CBS blurred out the "Santorum" dripping down the back of his leg.

The Reward Challenge involved carring water in a leaking buckets in order to try and fill a container the fastest. The Reward consisted of peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, coffee, and the right to keep living at the One World Beach, while the losers had to move and build a new camp.

For Manano, Monica kept falling down and causing her team to lose water, while Kat kept trying to lap all of the water out of her team's bucket for Salani. Fortunately for Salani, Kat got distracted by a squirrel and ran off into the jungle, and they ended up winning.

When Colton lamented, "Look at them and look at us, this is like Greek Gods versus peasants," his new tribemates took offense to his analogy. He then corrected himself by saying. "No, village people."

Realizing that he might be fucked, Colton commented, "Not only did I get on a tribe with people I don't want to be on a tribe with, I got on a tribe with people who suck," and if they "sucked," maybe they really were "Village People" after all.

Colton quickly tried to join up with the three girls in the new Monano tribe (Monica, Christina and Alicia) telling them, "Since day one I wanted to be with the girls." As they pinky swore, a skeptical Monica said, "Don't you forget who's your momma!" Colton then began to work Alicia in order to try and target Monica behind her back.

Jonas saw Colton playing both sides and asked, "How does he get away with this? I never thought to play that game, but it's brilliant." Twenty minuts later, the Producers informed an elated Jonas that he had been selected to be a contestant on Survivor: One World, as he asked them when the season was set to begin filming.

At Salani, not only did they win PB&J sandwiches, but Michael and Chelsea speared several crabs, and Troy caught a free range chicken. Meanwhile, at Monano, Monica and Christina caught a chicken in a trap, only to watch it run free through a hole that they failed to see.

After going along with Jay's request to work together, thereby giving her protetion from an influential member of the men's tribe, Kim simply announced that she was going to look for an Immunity Idol. She then walked into the jungle and promptly found one.

I'm starting to think that they hide Idols by the thousands out there, kind of like the "dig for treasure pits" at museums, because everyone who tries looking for one immediately finds it without any clues.

"It feels amazing. It was almost a shocking...literally reach in their and feel it, may be one of the best feelings since I've been here. I was going to make a sexual reference here, but Kim did it for me when she told Chelsea, "I just found the Immunity Idol, it's in my crotch."

Don't think I'm not using that line the next time I'm at the bar...Also, keep in mind that Kim was wearing a tight bikini bottom at the time she said that.

At the Immunity Challenge, each tribe divided into groups of three to try and track down balls in the ocean and try to score three baskets. Salani took advantage of their significant athletic advantage, and won Immunity easily.

Colton purportedly convinced Alicia to vote out one of her own in Monica, much to Jonas' elation. "I could be Colton's bitch, I'll be whatever you want me to be, just don't vote me out." I'm glad Jonas said that, as I'm more than happy to retroactively apply it to my comment from last week, where I called Jonas Colton's bitch.

When Colton told Tarzan that their target was Monica, he stated, "So it's Monica...Now tell me who Monica is again?" Colton commented, "I really need to make sure before we go to Tribal Council that he know's who write down, or he could write down Jimmy for all we know...It's really hard being the leader of a bunch of idiots."

I guess that makes Colton the "Queen of Idiots."

At Tribal Council, Tarzan declared that upon the merge he decided to, "Drop my assertiveness to a different loadstar, which is one member of this group, who would then lead the first few days of this new tribe. When Jeff tried to figure out what he was saying by asking who that new leader was, Tarzan replied, "I shan't say, because the game is afoot."

When asked about Tarzan's large vocabulary, the verbally challenged Leif's response was, "He's definitely a complex, wisdom kind of guy and...he also helps better explanate," before Tarzan interjected, "And what he said is a neologism...Making up a word that sounds similar to the word you mean to say."

Leif says, Happy Patty Saint's Day! Does anyone else find it demeaning that those girls had to dress in Catholic school outfits?

Of course, after all of those big words, Tarzan disclosed that he had a medical condition that causes him to struggle to remember the names of other people. When quizzed about his new tribe members, he forgot the name of Monica, the person he had been instructed to vote out by Colton.

Ironically, the vote came down to Tarzan and Monica. Colton once again got his way, and Monica was voted out, allowing her to resume her career as a middle-aged trophy wife.

The Bachelor Blog - Because Courtney wins, but winning doesn't necessarily mean you won!

Now that we're down to the final two contestants, are you ready for the most controversial finale in the history of The Bachelor?... At until next season.

As Ben weighed over making the decision of who he'd chose, he was visited by his mother and his sister, who looked like Ben and had the exact same haircut...only with longer hair extensions. I'm going to call her "Not Ben."

If Ben's sister and former Bachelor Constantine ever hooked-up, would it be considered masturbating, or incest?

"Not Ben" warned him to be weary of the girl who doesn't get along with other girls, which of course was Courtney. On the other hand, she really seemed to hit it off with Lindzi...So maybe those two will get together in the event that Ben doesn't choose her.

Is it just me, or does ABC's caption list the spelling of Lindzi's name differently each episode? One week it's Lindzi, and the next it's Lindzie...Oh wait, that is just me.

"Not Ben" was concerned about Courtney's career as a model. "The idea of a model as a sister-in-law, I'm like oh God Ben, come on." Maybe I'm wrong, but it sounds like someone feels just a little threatened that she'll no longer be the pretty one in the family.

Then again, as Ben's mom says, "Beauty only runs skin deep." Ben should be glad that she stuck around for 87 years and flew to Switzerland to pass along that proverb.

By the time she met Courtney, I finally figured out that Ben's sister's name is Julia, but I'm still going to call her "Not Ben." After two days of expressing his concerns about Courtney to his family, Ben said that his primary goal heading into their introduction was that they don't pre-judge her.

About 30 seconds after meeting Courtney, "Not Ben" rolled her eyes at her. If she was one of the contestants, at that point she would have been one of the girls yelling at Courtney on The Women Tell All episode.

However, by the end of the day, both "Not Ben" and Ben's mother warmed up to Courtney, and gave Ben their approval and blessing...Courtney then smirked to the camera and sarcastically said, "Winning." Okay, maybe she didn't, which is too bad, because that's the only time it would have been the slightest bit amusing.

received his family's blessing, his biggest internal questioned seemed to be whether he was willing to deal with the shit-storm that he knew was coming if he followed his penis and ultimately chose Courtney. When "Not Ben's" sister pondered the question of what their father would do, their mother chimed in to indicate that he probably would have thought with his penis too.

For Lindzie's date, Ben took her skiing in the Swiss Alps since she had never skied before, and because her real father was Sonny Bono. When Lindzi brought up meeting Ben's family, he informed her how they really liked her, and gave him their blessing to make the choice he wanted.

Unfortunately for Lindzi, those statements were not necessarily both made in reference to her. She proceeded to ask Ben about whether he envisioned a future of the two of them together and told him that she loved him, as he awkwardly went to his go-to move of nodding and saying yes, while making as little eye contact as possible when he knows he's sending the girl home.

The Bachelor producers went all out for Courtney's dating, chartering the finest helicopter in all of Switzerland for a tour of the mountains. They then landed for a mountain top picnic...I hate recap episodes.

Courtney wrote Ben a romantic letter talking about their future together...No word yet on where she plagiarized this one from.

When Ben informed Courtney that his family ended up liking her she said, "Ben, it's totally worth it...It hasn't been easy for me," presumably referencing the bullshit act she put on to win them over.

She also threw a mini-tantrum for Ben even having brought up her issues with the other girls to his family...Apparently her plan was to smash their TV's in the event she won so they could never see her true personality.

Before his proposal, Ben's dad arrived to help him pick out rings. Alright, I'm just checking to see if you've been following along all season. If you don't get this reference, congratulations, you haven't.

The Batch-copter whisked Ben and the two finalists to the top of a mountain. Lindzi arrived first, and as expected, Ben crapped on her dreams of a diamond ring by saying, "I've fallen in love with you, but I need those moments to last a lifetime, and - I've found that with someone else."

Lindzi managed to keep it together for the most part, and told Ben to call her if things didn't work out. Unfortunately for, when it comes to The Bachelor, they always do.

After a dramatic "but" in his speech to Courtney, Ben ultimately proposed to her. Courtney accepted and said, I'll love you forever, you're stuck with me!"

I don't exactly know how that constitutes "The most shocking finale in Bachelor history" as ABC had promised, so I'm organizing a class action lawsuit. If any one's interested, you can contact me.

Congratulations Admiral...I mean Courtney Robertson, winner of The Bachelor - Season Ben!
However, as we learned at the After the Final Rose episode, winning doesn't necessary mean you won.

The audience gasped as Ben announced that Courtney's actions on TV initially lead to them stop talking, and then subsequently breaking up. I think I even saw a brief shot of Emily doing a victory rap.

Courtney came out next to a smattering of boos from the audience. While she initially tried to take some responsibility for how she acted, she also blamed Ben for abandoning her.

As Courtney were reunited in public in public for the first time since the show, Ben seemingly acknowledged that I wasted a half hour of my time on made for TV drama on After the Rose by ultimately confirming that they were still engaged.

Even though Courtney was a bitch and mislead Ben about the type of person she really was, Ben ended up publicly apologizing to her for not staying by her side through all the criticism she received.

At least he threw it back in her face a little bit by taking a page out of her book in saying, "That wasn't fair to you, (but) that was my coping mechanism." You really can't be pissed off at someone when they steal the same bullshit excuse you use to get out of trouble.

And with that, Ben gave Courtney her engagement ring back, as the not so happy couple assured America that they'd try to work things out...I just look forward to seeing them complete as singles on The Bachelor Pad this summer.

2012 NFL Mock Draft: Post Scouting Combine

Here is my Post NFL Scouting Combine 2012 NFL Mock Draft. It will be followed by updates up until the NFL Draft on April 26th.

My mock draft has been linked by The Football Fan Spot, Sports Jabber, DC Pro Sports ReportWalter Football, FF Toolbox, hailRedskins.com, The Football Expert, NFLDraftDogFantasy Football Help Desk, The Huddle Report, NFL Mock Draft Central, NFL Pro Zach and No Limits Sportsline Fantasy Sports in their Mock Draft Databases. If you're a draftnik like me, be sure to click on their hyperlinks and check out all of their extensive NFL Draft related material.

This is not a mock draft where I attempt play general manager and substitute my own judgment for the 32 NFL teams. I do my best to research what particular players or positions each team may be targeting by searching the internet for tips from reliable beat writers and NFL insiders in order to provide links and analysis as to why that team may be targeting a particular player.

1st Round

The Colts are free to select Andrew Luck with the first pick in the 2012 NFL Draft and play him right away, while their fan base will have the excitement of watching him develop even though they are completely starting over.

2. Washington Redskins (from St. Louis) – Robert Griffin III, QB, Baylor: With Peyton Manning having rebuffed Washington's attempt to lure him in free agency, the Redskins will have their quarterback of the future, having elected to give up three first round picks and a second for the right to draft Robert Griffin III.

http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/football-insider/post/washington-redskins-acquire-no-2-pick-in-nfl-draft-in-trade-with-st-louis-rams/2012/03/09/gIQAwy1Q2R_blog.html

3. Minnesota Vikings – Matt Kalil, OT, USC: The Vikings appear to have made their decision to go with Christian Ponder as their quarterback of the future, having assured him that they will not select another signal caller with their first round pick in this year's draft. Matt Kalil projects as a premier left tackle that Minnesota can rebuild their offensive line around. Justin Blackmon and Morris Claiborne would also fill needs here for the Vikings, but when all else is equal when it comes to talent, left tackle takes precedence over a wide receiver or a cornerback.

4. Cleveland Browns – Morris Claiborne, CB, LSU: Having offered three first round picks and even a second rounder, the Browns still lost out to Washington on Robert Griffin III. If the Browns land their quarterback of the future via free agency in someone like Matt Flynn or draft a quarterback later in the first round at #22 like Ryan Tannehill or Brandon Weedon, they will be free to select one of the six elite prospects in this year's draft, like Morris Claiborne of LSU.

5. Tampa Bay Buccaneers – Trent Richardson, RB, Alabama: It would be hard to argue with Morris Claiborne or Justin Blackmon at the #5 spot, but an electric back like Trent Richardson would immediately make life easier on quarterback Josh Freeman by forcing an extra defender into the box. The decision as to which position to pick will likely be determined by who the Bucs are able to sign in free agency, where there will be more top flight cornerbacks available than game changing running backs.

6. St. Louis Rams - Justin Blackmon, WR, Oklahoma State: With the Rams now having traded down from the #2 spot with Washington at #6, they have accumulated a bounty of extra picks and still have the opportunity to select the elite go to wide receiver they covet for Sam Bradford in Justin Blackmon before the next team clearly seeking help at that position picks in Jacksonville at #7.

8. Miami Dolphins – Riley Reiff, OT, Iowa: While there has been speculation that the Dolphins will make a strong push for Peyton Manning now that he has been released by the Colts. They could also pursue Matt Flynn since his former offensive coordinator in Green Bay is now Miami's head coach. Assuming that the Dolphins solidify their quarterback situation via free agency, they can address needs like pass rush or right tackle in the draft. While some would question the value of drafting a right tackle this high in the first round, that seems to be the Dolphins thinking at this point for their pick at pick #8, especially if they sign Manning. Otherwise, Melvin Ingram could be the pick.

9. Carolina Panthers – Dontari Poe, DT, Memphis: Ideally the Panthers would like for in-state product Quinton Coples to fall them at pick #9. Coples would have the skill-set to play inside as a disruptive tackle in the Panthers 4-3 system. Morris Claiborne is also a player that the Panthers are considering to fill a need at cornerback. If both are off the board by the time the Panthers pick, Carolina will likely have to choose between Alabama CB Dre Kirkpatrick and Memphis DT Dontari Poe. Poe would be a fit because he has the size to anchor a defensive line against the run, and the athleticism to be disruptive from the inside.

Aside from Rich Eisen setting a new personal best in the 40, nobody had a better Scouting Combine than Dontari Poe.

10. Buffalo Bills – Courtney Upshaw, DE/OLB, Alabama: An edge pass rusher like Courtney Upshaw would be a great combination to pair alongside fellow ex Alabama teammate Marcell Dareus in the Bill's new 4-3 defense. A left tackle could also be a consideration, but for now Buffalo hopes to re-sign Demetrius Bell.

11. Kansas City Chiefs – Jonathan Martin, OT, Stanford: The Chiefs are looking to upgrade their offensive line. Drafting a true left tackle like Stanford’s Jonathan Martin at #11 would allow them to move Brandon Albert either inside to guard or to right tackle, his more natural position. Either way, Kansas City would substantially upgrade two positions on their line by making that move.

12. Seattle Seahawks – Ryan Tannehill, QB, Texas A and M: Seattle has needs at quarterback and defensive end. It would not be surprising if the Seahawks packaged this pick for a new signal caller, but that scenario would require them moving up from pick #12 and into the top 2 or 3 to even have a chance at one of the top 2 quarterbacks. Not only is Ryan Tannehill positioning himself as a top 10-15 pick, he would be a good system fit for Seattle's West Coast Offense. If the Seahawks find their new quarterback in free agency (where they have been linked to both Peyton Manning and Matt Flynn), or if the cost of moving up in the draft is too high, the Seahawks have also been said to have exhibited an interest in USC DE Nick Perry. Melvin Ingram of South Carolina could be another possibility.

13. Arizona Cardinals – Mike Adams, OT, Ohio State: The Cardinals need to improve their current offensive line, especially if they elect to let left tackle Levi Brown walk in free agency. Jonathan Martin of Stanford and Riley Reiff would seem to fit at #13 value wise, although the Cardinals seemed to have exhibited more of an interest in Ohio State left tackle Mike Adams at the Senior Bowl.

14. Dallas Cowboys – Dre Kirkpatrick, CB, Alabama: The Cowboys have several glaring holes in their secondary, which for an aspiring Super Bowl contender is a recipe for disaster in the pass happy NFC. Look for the Cowboys to address that need and let their young interior offensive line develop another season before deciding whether it needs to be upgraded.

Luke Kuechly of Boston College would be a solid step in remedying that problem, especially in light of his superb zone cover skills.

16. New York Jets - Melvin Ingram, OLB/DE, South Carolina: The Jets entire defense was brought down last season due to a lack of pass rush from the edge. Melvin Ingram of South Carolina projects as an ideal 3-4 OLB in the Jet’s defensive scheme. Mark Barron of Alabama could also be a consideration for some much needed speed at safety, but I'm hearing that a strong pass rusher would be their preference.

17. Cincinnati Bengals (from Oakland) – David DeCastro, G, Stanford: From the interior of their offensive line to an explosive back, the Bengals could stand to improve their running game. David DeCastro projects as one of the highest rated guards in recent draft history, possibly going as high as the top half of the first round. Cornerback and safety will also be considerations depending on the value available when it comes to Cincinnati's draft board.

18. San Diego Chargers – Andre Branch, OLB/DE, Clemson: The Chargers could have plenty of needs depending upon whether they re-sign all of their own free agents. Offensive line could be a huge concern with the retirement of Kris Dielman and depending on the statuses of Marcus McNeil, Jared Gaither and Nick Hardwick, although it currently looks as if Gaither and Hardwick may ultimately return. Adding a playmaker to rush the passer at linebacker is also a major need, and could represent better value at the 18th pick if the Chargers can sure up their line before the draft. Melvin Ingram of South Carolina or Courtney Upshaw of Alabama would be ideal fits if they were to fall to San Diego at #18, while Andre Branch of Clemson would also fit the bill of a pass rusher at linebacker in a 3-4 defense.

In that case, Michael Floyd of Notre Dame would give Jay Cutler a natural go-to receiver to work with, allowing Devin Hester and Johnny Knox to work as more complimentary big-play threats. Georgia Tech's Stephen Hill may have also worked himself into the mix with a strong Scouting Combine.

20. Tennessee Titans – Nick Perry, DE/OLB, USC: The Titans appear to be looking for help at defensive end. In the mid to later part of the first round they could find value in edge rushers like Nick Perry of USC or Andre Branch of Clemson. Cornerback could also be a consideration with Courtland Finnegan free to sign elsewhere as a free agent.

21. Cincinnati Bengals – Janoris Jenkins, CB, North Alabama: The Bengals should look to upgrade their secondary at either corner or safety with at least one of their two first round picks. Janoris Jenkins claims to have distanced himself from the marijuana problems that caused him to get kicked out of the University of Florida. Given that the Bengals have a tendency to overlook character concerns, Jenkins may be a fit in Cincinnati given that he just may be the best cover corner in the draft.

22. Cleveland Browns (from Atlanta) – Kendall Wright, WR, Baylor: If the Browns land their quarterback of the future via free agency in someone like Matt Flynn or trade back slightly and draft a quarterback earlier in the first round like Ryan Tannehill, they will need to find their new quarterback a go to target at wide receiver. Kendall Wright of Baylor is the type of deep threat that they have been lacking to stretch defenses.

23. Detroit Lions - Mark Barron, S, Alabama: Offensive line and the secondary are Detroit's biggest areas of need. However, William Clay Ford, Jr., Martin Mayhew and Tom Lewand have changed the culture in Detroit by taking a best player available instead of reaching for players. While Janoris Jenkins and Dre Kilpatrick have the talent at cornerback that the Lions would be looking for, their character concerns may not fit with the Lions organization even if they were to fall to Detroit at the #23 pick. Meanwhile, the first round may be too early to select a guard/center in terms of value. If the Lions were to draft a tackle, they’d ultimately be looking for someone to replace Jeff Backus on the left side. Unfortunately, the tackles projected to be on the board later in the first round don’t necessarily project to the left side at the NFL level. That leaves safety, and if Mark Barron slides to Detroit at #23, he’d fit the criteria of best player available and fill a position of need at the same time.

27. New England Patriots (from New Orleans) – Devon Still, DT, Penn State: New England has two picks in both the 1st and the 2nd rounds of this year's draft. With glaring holes at DE, OLB CB/S and possibly even WR, they should be in position to make major improvements to a team that just narrowly missed winning the Super Bowl. Devon Still of Penn State would be an ideal 3-4 end to provide the Patriots with some much needed pass rush while also stabilizing against the run.

30. San Francisco 49ers – Michael Brockers, DT, LSU: While the 49ers need a wide receiver, they will take the best player available on their draft board. While Michael Brockers of LSU did not appear overly athletic at the Scouting Combine, he's still too good of a football player to pass up at this point.

31. New England Patriots – Vinny Curry, DE/OLB, Marshall: If the Patriots can address defensive end with the first selection in the first round, a 3-4 outside linebacker needs to be their next priority with Kevin Carter and Mark Anderson set to hit the free agent market. Vinny Curry of Marshall is a talented pass rusher who's skill set translates well to standing up in a 3-4 defense in the NFL.

32. New York Giants – Cordy Glenn, T/G, Georgia: The Giants were able to mask holes on their offensive line and in their secondary all season. With their secondary returning some of the depth and talent that was lost due to injury, the Giants can focus on their line. Cordy Glenn of Georgia has the versatility to play either right tackle or right guard, both of which are positions that the Giants could stand to improve. Given that the Giants take a best player available philosophy under Jerry Reese, a defensive tackle or end would not be surprising given the depth and value available at those positions in this year's draft.
