I know Les Snead is a BPA ...Thanks for the input!

I know Les Snead is a BPA guy, so I''m sure that's going to factor in as well. Right now I have Mack available at #13, but I'm not as high on him as the Kipers and McShays due to some locker room and character concerns, but perhaps he clears those issues up at the Combine. I can also see the Rams trying to trade down with both picks based on what you are saying and where the value at those positions plays out.The Red Mienihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04672422579178449737noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5927279725204745907.post-90012405149209278922014-02-12T08:54:15.575-08:002014-02-12T08:54:15.575-08:00I disagree that the Ram's take a WR in the 1st...I disagree that the Ram's take a WR in the 1st round. The largest area of need you nailed with the Jake Matthews selection. He can play LT until Jake Long is 100% from his knee injury and then he can switch over to RT when Long returns. He's also capable of playing inside at LG if Barksdale continues his solid play at RT.

After that, the Rams largest needs are a ball hawking, play making safety, an OLB to replace JoLonn Dunbar, a third CB so we can cut Cortland Finnegan who got torched last year and is hurting our payroll, a run stuffing DT to pair with Michael Brockers, and lastly, a tall, big bodied, red zone threat of a WR to couple with Tavon Austin, Chris Givens, and Stedman Bailey. The WR is last on that list.

Jake Matthews is top priority on my list. Then it all depends on who is available at 13. If somehow Barr or Mack falls to 13, I'm taking them. If they're gone, I'm probably taking a DT or a Safety. There may be a safety available at 44 and taking a DT would make the Ram's D-Line the 2nd coming of the fearsome foursome with four 1st round picks on the line. Our largest weakness is our defensive secondary, so taking a safety would be the greatest upgrade we could make. I wish HaHa or Pryor would be available at 44, but I just don't see it happening, so we really should take a safety at 13 and look at other needs at 44.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
